Krysten believes in the healing power of connection, acceptance, and walking alongside you on your path. Her goal is to honor you and your journey, as no two journeys are alike. Krysten believes that all humans are social, creative beings that are affected by all aspects of their life. She believes that all individuals have within themselves the capacity for growth by taking a holistic look at a person while using an integrated and developmentally appropriate approach to explore where they came from, how they have been shaped by their experiences, and where they want to go, so that they can feel confident and happy with their place in life. Krysten is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist, and EMDR trained. Krysten earned a Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University with a focus in Child and Adolescent counseling. Krysten has worked with a variety of clients in various settings including; academics, private practice, community family center, hospital, non-profit, and pediatrics.
